Rock (Until You Drop) – Raven @ El Corazon/The Funhouse
Raven is bringing THE ROCK to Seattle for a midweek metal showdown at The Funhouse/El Corazon in Seattle. Based on other stops along the band’s tour supporting their newest album, Metal City, along with a catalog of groundbreaking and energetic metal that spans nearly five decades.
Don’t let Raven’s longevity fool you. Founding members, bassist/vocalist John and guitarist Mark Gallagher rock as hard, or even harder than they did when they launched in England in 1974. The brothers have gone through a baker’s dozen of drummers since the early days. Their most recent bandmate is Mike Heller, who’s kept the beat since 2017.

Along with songs from Metal City, fans wonder which hits from previous releases will be part of what’s sure to be an action-packed set. I hope to hear cuts from early albums Rock Until You Drop!, Wiped Out!, and All For One, as well as later albums One for All and ExtermiNation. Whatever they decide to play will be fast and LOUD, a perfect pick-me-up for a rainy Wednesday.
